It's been a freezing cold week in Crowborough which, thankfully, looks like is coming to an end as the days warm up.

Crowborough plummets to a new low (temperature wise ;)
But the temperatures plunged to mega-lows over the last few days - the worst probably being on Saturday morning when it said it was -7C.
Although I think it was much colder than that!

Just come back from the Alps and getting my croissant at 7.30 in the morning the temperature was a sweltering -20.
I have to agree with the captain we really need to prepare ourselves, this is the reason most other countries manage in the snow. Drivers take responsibility and have winter tyres, chains or socks and pedestrians look where they are walking!

Report-7 is hardly Siberian-in fact its hardly cold compared to many parts of the planet.
We all need to harden up because winters are going to get colder due to the fact we are entering a period of low solar activity which is the main driver of the earths climate.Swapping your Range Rover for a push bike is not going to make a bit of difference we need to prepare for cold winters (as they should be).
