A dangerous dog is attacking other pups in Ashdown Forest.
The Forest's news service reports that on Saturday morning Bertie, a gentle Irish setter, was set upon and attached by a black Staffordshire Bull Terrier (with some white spots on his back) called Max.
The dog was being walked by a man.
Bertie was covered in blood from an ear wound and needed several stitiches from the vet
Bertie and his owner were walking in the Vachery when they met Max and his owner. The owner didn't stop and help or apologise.
