Dog on dog attack in Ashdown Forest

A muzzled greyhound recently ran down and rolled over another dog on the Ashdown Forest.
There was no biting, but the attacked dog and owner were left very shocked after the incident, between Duddleswell Tearooms and Cackle Street.
The Forest said in a statement: 'It is good that the offending dog was muzzled but not so good that the dog was not 'under close control'.
'We ask that all dogs on the Forest are under close control, i.e, on a lead if there is any doubt about obedience.'
It also said the Retired Greyhound Trust (who have a monthly greyhound walk on the Forest) were very worried that the incident could ruin the good work that the RGT have done in the past.

I know wheat has ears , a river has a mouth and potatoes have eyes but I have never heard a forest speak.Perhaps it wasnt the trees but the whispering grass.
