The Country Park is quite pleasant, and is actually one thing (the only thing?!) the Town Council have got right. My one complaint is that there is no connection between the Country Park and the footpath that runs from Farningham Road to Mount Pleasant, although it may be that there are private gardens in the way.

I (new to the area) also stumbled upon the park and was impressed. Seems to be a fair bit of negativity around. I have asked around re things to do/places to go and found the park by fluke.

Agreed, I live nearby to the park and I love it.
I have lived in Crowborough all my life and spent many a happy hour there when it was the old Quarry and lower down, the Brick Yard.
I think what they have done is superb and should be commended for it. There is obviously still work going on and it's being maintained very well.
One very very minor gripe, if you have a buggy/pushchair it can be very difficult to get through the gates especially at the lower end. Like I said, a minor gripe.
