All you need to know about Crowborough Carnival

Children's procession will leave Chapel Green at around 1pm.

Then the evening's activities will start at 7pm.

Wreaths will be laid at the war memorial at 7pm.

Crowning of the Carnival Queen Ana Garcia at Chapel Green at 7.15pm by MP Charles Hendry.

Evening Procession starts at 7.30pm - will go around the town.

Back to Chapel Green for about 9.30pm.

Trains arrive at xx:46 FROM Uckfield and xx:09 FROM London Bridge/Oxted to Uckfield.

The last train to Uckfield is 23:09 and the last train to East Croydon is 22:46. 

There will be Torchlit Processions with Visiting Societies, Marching Bands, Carnival Groups, Troupes, Floats and a Fancy Dress Competition.

No Firework Display.

And here's a message from Arriva about the road closures for the Carnival:

Due to Crowborough Carnival taking place on Saturday 10th September the following buses will run to revised routes.

- The 1732 hours (228) bus from Tunbridge Wells to Crowborough Station will be unable to serve Montargis Way and will run instead via Crowborough Hill to Old Lane.

- The 1821 (229) and 1926 hours (229) buses from Crowborough Cross will run as normal to the station and then direct via Crowborough Hill to the Cross.

- The 2003 (228) and 2031 hours (229) buses from Crowborough Cross to Crowborough Station will run DIRECT via Crowborough Hill in both directions and will be unable to serve the Alderbrook area.

- The 2103 hours (228) bus from Crowborough Cross to Tunbridge Wells will follow the normal route to Crowborough Station and will then return direct via Crowborough Hill to the Cross and Tunbridge Wells.
