Students set for glittering performance

A TROUPE of budding ballet stars are practicing their points ahead of a glittering performance with the English Youth Ballet.

The five youngsters – pupils at schools across East Sussex and West Kent – are taking part in The Nutcracker at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley later this month.

Niamh Bennett, ten, from Rose Hill School in Tunbridge Wells, Charlotte Arnold, nine, a pupil at Sir Henry Fermor Primary School in Crowborough, Charlotte Timbers, 11, from Stocks Green School in Hildenborough, Kathryn Palfrey, 11, from Kent College, Pembury and Zoe Snowball, 12, a pupil at Mayfield School are among the 100 ballet students who have been selected to join the prestigious group.
